OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE BIZZARRO CAMPAIGN REGARDING RECENT SIGN VANDALISM
Erie, Penn. -- The Bizzarro Campaign was recently notified that several of our opponent's signs are down, as well as our own signs. If, in fact, this is an act of vandalism and not due to the recent high winds, this childish display is appalling and unacceptable.
These actions show a blatant disrespect for the political process, the candidates, and most importantly, the volunteers who have spent both time and money on assembling these signs. Such acts of vandalism are not tolerated or condoned by this campaign.
Our team has run, and will continue to run, a positive campaign focused on promoting prosperity, not destroying personal property. No one associated with Ryan Bizzarro or the Bizzarro campaign have acted in a way that would merit such accusations either. Any assumption is just as inappropriate and childish as the destruction of these signs.
At the end of the day, regardless of party affiliation, this campaign is about our community and moving us forward so that our families continue to have opportunities to be successful here in our hometown. We owe it to one another to rise above immature antics and instead focus on the issues facing the families of Erie County.
If you are witness to future sign vandalism for any candidate running for office this November, please call your local police department.
